• Pet Profile Data: Information you provide about your pets, such as name, species, breed, age, weight, allergies, and health conditions. This data is stored locally on your device.
• Food Images: Photos you take or select for analysis. Images are transmitted to our secure servers for AI analysis and are not permanently stored after processing.
• Scan History: Records of your food safety scans, including results and timestamps. This data is stored locally on your device.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about app usage patterns, crash reports, and performance metrics to improve the service.
• Subscription Data:If you subscribe to Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store credit card information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the food safety analysis service
• Personalize safety results based on your pet's profile
• Send FDA recall alerts and notifications you opt into
• Improve our AI model accuracy and app performance
• Process subscriptions and manage your account

Pet profiles and scan history are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. Food images transmitted for analysis are processed in real-time through our secure, encrypted API endpoints and are not retained on our servers beyond the analysis session. We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may have access to limited data:

• Anthropic (Claude AI):For food image analysis. Images are processed under Anthropic's data policies.
• Supabase: For secure API infrastructure and authentication.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management and payment processing.
• FDA openFDA API: For pet food recall data (publicly available information).

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research or service improvement. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Opt out of non-essential notifications
• Export your data (pet profiles and scan history are stored locally and accessible to you)

FeedCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
